Class Schedule and Keynote for Arizona Family History Expo 2013

The class schedules and the keynote speaker are up on Family History Expo website. The Arizona Family History Expo will open our 10th year of taking some of the best presenters and exhibitors out to the genealogists around the United States. This year’s Expo will be held on January 18 beginning 1:00 pm and ending on January 19 at 4:00 pm at the Mesa Convention Center, 263 N. Center Street, Mesa, Arizona – 85201. The schedule of classes has eight different offerings every hour, with something for every level of genealogical expertise. Some of the classes may change and additional classes may be added, but the lineup is already impressive.

Opening Keynote is Barbara Renick

Barbara Renick serves as a genealogical computing instructor at the Regional Family History Center in Orange, California. She has taught genealogical computing classes since 1985 and frequently lectures at regional and national conferences. She writes for several genealogy publications and authored Genealogy 101: How To Trace Your Family’s History and Heritage for the National Genealogical Society’s 100th Anniversary.

Closing Keynote is Holly T. Hansen

Holly T. Hansen is President of Family History Expos, Inc. Through Family History Expos, Holly has helped thousands understand the techniques and technology to trace their roots in today’s ever-changing technological environment. She received a B.A. in History from Weber State University and continues to dedicate time to education on a daily basis. She is also an author, lecturer, former editor of Everton’s Genealogical Helper magazine, and editor of the 10th and 11th editions of the Handybook for Genealogists.
