Family History Expos Welcomes Amy Coffin
Amy is well known as the blogger of the We Tree Blog.Â We Tree was named one of Family Tree Magazine’s Top 40 Genealogy Blogs for 2010. About blogging, Amy says, â€œI use my blog to meet others, share my genealogy experiences, give advice and expand my research. I love genealogy blogging and teaching others to do the same.â€
Amy is the author of the popular weekly blog series “52 Weeks to Better Genealogy” and “Jump Start Your Genealogy Blog: 52 Ideas, 52 Weeks.” She has also written several articles and was a featured expert at Archives.com writing the article, Genealogy Resources at the Public Library.
Amy has Â a Master of Library and Information Science degree (MLIS) from San Jose State University, with a concentration in special libraries. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in behavioral science with a minor in criminal justice. This background has given her a deep understanding of how information is organized and where to find it.
